Terms & Disclosures

Last updated 2026-07-11
FinveOS is an educational and personal-tracking tool. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
YOUR HOLDINGS & YOUR PRIVACY

Your portfolio is yours. The holdings you add or import are private to your account. We never ask for your brokerage login or passwords, and the app cannot place trades or move money.

How it’s protected. Your data is stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security, so one account can never read another’s holdings. Private messages are additionally encrypted, and all traffic is served over HTTPS.

We never sell your data. We do not sell, rent, or share your holdings or personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Only anonymous, aggregated usage may be used to improve the product.

Who can see what. By default no one else sees your portfolio. If you choose to make a fund public, others see only your allocation split — the percentage in each holding — never the dollar amounts invested, your cost basis, or your net worth.

Regulation. Today FinveOS is an educational and personal-tracking tool and is not a regulated financial firm. Before it ever handles client investments, it will register with and operate under the relevant financial-services regulator (such as the FCA in the UK or the SEC in the US), with the disclosures that requires.

01 · Not investment advice · No advisory relationship
FinveOS is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and is not registered with or licensed by any securities regulator. Using the app creates no fiduciary, advisory, or brokerage relationship. AI outputs, “ideas”, fit scores, verdicts, and research summaries are automated, may be wrong or incomplete, and are provided for educational purposes only.
02 · AI-generated content
Much of the content on FinveOS is produced by large language models. It can be inaccurate, outdated, or entirely fabricated (“hallucinated”). Always verify independently against primary sources. Never act on an AI output — including any Buy / Sell / Hold verdict or fit score — without doing your own due diligence. Any such verdict is hypothetical and educational, not advice.
03 · Market & third-party data (“as is”)
Prices, fundamentals, and metrics come from third parties — including Yahoo Finance / Yahoo quoteSummary, public SEC filings, and other public sources — and are provided “AS IS” with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose. Data may be delayed, wrong, or unavailable, and is not suitable for real-time trading.
04 · Hypothetical / backtested performance
Fund CAGR, Sharpe, volatility, NAV, and similar statistics shown in FinveOS are hypothetical. They are reconstructed from current holdings measured against historical prices — they are not a realized, contribution-adjusted track record, they exclude fees, slippage, and taxes, and they carry the benefit of hindsight. Past performance does not guarantee or predict future results.
05 · Insider & institutional trades
Disclosures of insider and institutional trades are sourced from public SEC filings (Form 4, 13F) and other regulatory sources. They are often reported weeks after the fact, may contain filer errors, and are shown for informational and educational purposes only. They are not trading signals and not an endorsement of any trade, security, or person.
06 · “Following” a fund is not copy-trading
Following a fund shows you its allocation and its moves only. FinveOS never places, executes, routes, or manages any trade or order in any brokerage account, and holds no custody of your assets or money. Any action in your own accounts is entirely your own.
07 · Your responsibility · Consult a professional
You alone are responsible for your investment decisions and their outcomes. Before acting, consult a licensed financial adviser, broker, attorney, and/or tax professional who knows your circumstances. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.
08 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinveOS and its operator provide the service “as is” and “as available”, disclaim all warranties (express or implied), and are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the app or your reliance on its content. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount (if any) you paid for the service in the prior 12 months.
09 · Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to the service shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in [JURISDICTION], and you consent to their jurisdiction. (Placeholder — to be completed by the operator’s counsel.)
10 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above (2026-07-11) reflects the current version. Your continued use of FinveOS after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms; a material change may ask you to acknowledge it again.
