What you can bring in, and how it gets there.
There is no list of linked brokers, because nothing is linked. What you can bring in depends on how you bring it: a forwarded email, a statement, an export or your own typing. Each one reads something different, and each has limits, set out below.
Four ways in, all of them on the free plan
Forward your broker’s emails
- YOU NEED
- The private address shown under Email Import. Forward from the email address on your account, or set Gmail to forward your broker’s mail on its own.
- WHAT COMES IN
- Trades, each with its date, and cash: dividends, interest, deposits, withdrawals, fees, tax and transfers. A PDF attached to the email is read too, up to three.
- BEFORE IT IS SAVED
- Every entry waits in your inbox until you check it in. A trade without a date cannot go in. Mail that fails its sender checks is held, and nothing in it is read.
- LIMITS
- Up to 50 emails are read a day, at 4 MB each. The email is read by AI, so check the price and the date before you confirm.
Upload a statement PDF
- YOU NEED
- A statement PDF from your broker, up to 4 MB and 40 pages.
- WHAT COMES IN
- A snapshot of the positions on the statement: shares and average cost, not trades or dates. A statement that lists only activity has nothing to bring in.
- BEFORE IT IS SAVED
- Every row is shown to you, and nothing is saved until you press Import.
- LIMITS
- A password-protected PDF is not read; save a copy without the password. A scanned statement is read from its page images, up to 10 pages, and marked so you check every share count.
Upload a CSV or Excel export
- YOU NEED
- Your broker’s holdings or transactions export, as CSV or .xlsx.
- WHAT COMES IN
- Positions: shares and average cost. A transaction history is added up into what you hold today, without purchase dates.
- BEFORE IT IS SAVED
- Import from your dashboard or Settings and every row is shown before anything is saved. The quick import while you set up your account saves straight away, so check those rows under Holdings.
- LIMITS
- A layout it knows is read directly; an unfamiliar one is read by AI and marked for you to check. Short positions, options, cash and money-market rows, and dividend, fee and deposit lines are left out.
Type it in
- YOU NEED
- The ticker, the number of shares and what you paid.
- WHAT COMES IN
- Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and crypto that have a market price, plus cash and fixed deposits, each in its own currency.
- BEFORE IT IS SAVED
- You are typing it, so it goes in as you enter it. You can edit or remove it at any time.
- LIMITS
- Search finds stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and crypto. Something it cannot find, such as an individual bond or an option, has no price to follow.
Imported statements, unfamiliar exports and forwarded emails are read by an AI model from Anthropic. The privacy notice lists every service that sees your data.

The importer was built from the export layouts these brokers document. It recognises a file by its columns, not by the broker’s name, so an export from a broker missing here often reads as well. A broker on the list can still change its layout. We have not tested every account type at every broker against a real file, which is why every row is shown to you before it is saved.
Broker emails it will read
Forwarding is not tied to a broker. A trade email you forward from the address on your account, or through Gmail’s forwarding, is read whoever sent it, and you check each trade before it goes in.
Mail that reaches your address any other way is read only when it comes from one of these brokers and passes the sender’s DKIM or SPF check. Anything else is held for you to see, and nothing in it is read.

Markets and currencies
Prices come from public market quotes, which can be delayed. The markets it prices include the US, the UK, Europe, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Australia and Canada.
Each holding keeps the currency its market quotes it in, and a London price quoted in pence is read as pence, not pounds. You choose the currency your totals are shown in: USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, KRW, INR, SGD, AUD, CAD, CHF, HKD, CNY and NZD. Totals are converted at the latest exchange rate the European Central Bank has published, which is set once each working day. It is not a live rate.
A currency the ECB does not publish, such as the Taiwan dollar, is left unconverted rather than guessed. So is any amount when the rate cannot be fetched.
What it will not do
- Reach your brokerNothing is linked to a broker or a bank. Prices move by themselves; your holdings change only when you add, import or confirm something.
- Record dividends and corporate actions for youA dividend notice you forward is read, and it waits for you to check it in, like a trade.
- Produce tax reportsThere are none, on any plan.
- Track short positions or optionsIt holds long positions only.
- Place trades or move moneyIt is a tracker. There is no order routing, and it cannot buy, sell or withdraw anything.
How your data is held, who can see it and how to delete it is on the security page.
Broker missing, or a file it misread?
Write to finvestoros@gmail.com with the broker’s name and which export or email it was. Please don’t attach a real statement: we can work from the column headings.
