OLNEST
NO LINKING · NO BROKER LOGIN

A portfolio tracker that works without linking your accounts.

Nothing is connected to your broker, and nothing ever asks for your login. You build the portfolio yourself, from whichever brokers you use, and you check what goes into it. It is a web app, and it runs in your browser.

Four ways in. All of them on the free Lite plan.

01

Forward your broker’s trade emails

You get a private address. Forward your broker’s trade emails to it from the email address on your account, or set up forwarding in Gmail so they go on their own. Each trade it reads waits for you to check it in, and it shows you the date it read before anything goes in. Mail that fails its sender checks is held rather than read into your holdings.

02

Import a statement PDF

Upload a broker statement as a PDF. A statement is a snapshot of what you held on the day it was printed. You see what was found before it is saved.

03

Import a CSV

Upload your broker’s export as a CSV. Layouts it knows are read directly; an unfamiliar one is read by AI and marked for you to check. Import from your dashboard and every row is shown to you before anything is saved.

04

Type it in

Add a holding by hand: the ticker, the number of shares and what you paid. For a position you rarely touch, that is often the quickest route of all.

A manual portfolio tracker, and what that costs you

A tracker that cannot link to your broker only knows what you give it. That is the trade. You do the adding, and in return you never give this app a login to your brokerage account.

Forwarding is what makes it bearable. Set up forwarding once in Gmail, on the address your account uses, and each new trade email reaches your private address as it arrives. Each trade on it still waits for you to check it in, so you can catch a misread price or date before it goes in.

Track multiple brokerage accounts, each in its own currency

If you hold more than one account (a local broker, an overseas one, a retirement account), each holding keeps the currency its broker quotes it in. Totals are converted at the latest published exchange rate, which is set once each working day. It is not a live rate, and the app does not pretend otherwise.

Questions

Does it connect to my brokerage account?
No. It never asks for your brokerage login and it has no way to reach your account. Everything in it arrives because you typed it, uploaded it or forwarded it.
Which brokers does it work with?
It isn’t tied to a list of brokers. If your broker gives you a statement PDF or a CSV export, you can bring it in, and you can type in any holding by hand. A row it found hard to read, or a file read by AI, is marked for you to check. Some files won’t read at all; then you type the holding in.
Can I track multiple brokerage accounts?
Yes. Holdings from each broker you add go into one portfolio you keep yourself. Each holding keeps the currency its broker quotes it in, and totals are converted at the latest published exchange rate, which is updated once each working day, not live.
Does it update on its own?
Prices do. Your holdings only change as far as you let them. With Gmail forwarding your broker’s trade emails from the address on your account, new trades arrive and wait for your check. Without it, it holds what you last gave it.
Can it place trades?
No. It is a tracker. There is no order routing and it cannot buy or sell anything.
How are returns and benchmarks calculated?
The portfolio chart is time-weighted: each day’s change is measured on what you held that day, so adding a holding does not count as a gain. It is built from the holdings you have now, so a position you have sold drops out of its past as well. Returns are price-only, with no dividends, fees or taxes, and every day is converted at the latest published exchange rate. Benchmark, on Plus, sets your largest holdings, weighted by what you paid, beside an index fund such as SPY for the S&P 500, each in its own currency.
How do I delete my data?
In Settings, under Account, press Delete my account. It takes effect at once: any subscription is cancelled, then your profile, portfolio, trades, cash, email inbox, posts and messages are deleted. Stripe keeps the payment records the law requires. You can also remove a single holding or cash account yourself at any time.
What does it cost?
Signing up is free, and all four ways in are on the free plan. Plus ($14/mo) adds the screener, Benchmark, newsletters and Rooms. Pro ($39/mo) adds Deep Dives and a larger AI allowance. Each plan also covers the startups you back, and Angel ($79/mo) adds the most introductions to founders on top of everything in Pro.

Full plan details are on the pricing page. What each way in reads, and the broker layouts it recognises, are on the coverage page. Who can see your data, and how deletion works, is on the security page. How the chart’s return is worked out is in the guide to time-weighted and money-weighted return.
