Candlestick chart
A chart where each period is drawn as a body between open and close, with wicks to the high and low.
How it works
Candlesticks pack four numbers — open, high, low, close — into one shape, which makes intraday range visible at a glance.
Named patterns built from one or a few candles are widely taught and have weak evidence behind them.
