Filings & regulation
Quarterly report
Also called 10-Q or Interim results
A shorter, usually unaudited financial update covering three months.
How it works
Quarterly filings give more frequent visibility with less detail and, importantly, without a full audit.
Requirements vary: US companies report quarterly, while many European companies report half-yearly with lighter interim updates.
